You’d think that our Lord Jesus’ birth would’ve been welcomed with great fanfare, but the truth is, He came on a cold, silent night while the world was sleeping. Even before we knew about Jesus or cared about Him, He came into our world to be our salvation (see Romans 1:16).⠀ ⠀ The word “salvation” in this verse comes from the beautiful Greek word “soteria”, which doesn’t just refer to Jesus saving us from hell, but also being our deliverance, protection, health, wholeness and more, for all who believe in Him.⠀ ⠀ Will you own that today, my friend, and know that you’re more loved than you could ever fathom or imagine? #decibeladventcal17
