When Jesus walked the earth, He didn’t act like a patron who dispensed blessings from a distance. When He blesses, He comes close. When He healed the leper, He came and He touched him. When the two disciples were downcast, “Jesus Himself drew near and went with them” (Luke 24:15).

Today, we pray that you will not see Jesus as a means to an end but draw close to Him as the source of all that you need. Friend, the things that Jesus can do for you are great, but who He is to you is even better than what He can do. He is already so close to you, would you simply be conscious of that today? ????
