Project Description
What do I do when I don’t feel God’s presence?
Though the truth that God will never leave nor forsake us (see Heb. 13:5) is one we know by heart, there will inevitably be times we just don’t seem to feel His presence near us. Or perhaps you once relished His presence, but it’s been a long time since you last felt it.
The Shulamite woman in Song of Solomon chapter 5 had a similar experience when she felt distant from her Beloved and could no longer sense His presence. But it was a surprisingly simple action that changed how she felt! As other people asked her all about her Beloved and she began sharing about His goodness, her love and appreciation for Him began to rekindle.
If you’re feeling far from Jesus today, why not tell a friend or loved one about your experience with Him and what He has done for you? Besides reminding yourself of the Lord’s goodness and love for you, it may stir their heart and curiosity towards Him as well. Who knows, they may want to know Him personally too!
Tag a friend who needs to hear this today!
