We know it can be hard especially when things are heated and the frustration is real ????. The first thing that pops into our minds may not be the kindest sounding words… But in those moments, will you choose to listen before you speak?
Proverbs 17:27-28 (AMP) reads, “He who has knowledge restrains and is careful with his words, and a man of understanding and wisdom has a cool spirit (self-control, an even temper). Even a [callous, arrogant] fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise; when he closes his lips he is regarded as sensible (prudent, discreet) and a man of understanding.”
What you say matters, and you have the power to choose when and how you speak to the people around you. ????
